In all honesty, I'm still new to journalism after spending the past three years studying law - but since joining my student newspaper, I've found a genuine passion for it. Law rarely gives you room to express your opinions, especially when it comes to the frustrations surrounding the protection of human rights. 

My academic background has given me the tools to decipher legal language and translate it into clear, accessible writing for everyone.
